Finance Manager

Work arrangement

This hybrid role requires regular travel to Greater Houston, TX for in-person work. Your manager will confirm the weekly schedule.

What you will do

• Maintain budgets and rolling forecasts and gather timely inputs from operating teams.

• Coordinate monthly close schedules, account reconciliations, supporting schedules, and management reporting.

• Investigate budget and forecast variances and explain the operational drivers behind them.
• Review finance workflows and strengthen documentation, approvals, deadlines, and handoffs.
• Turn financial findings into clear follow-up actions for finance and department leaders.

What we are looking for

• Relevant experience in finance operations, accounting, planning, reporting, or business analysis.
• Strong spreadsheet, reconciliation, documentation, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to manage recurring deadlines without bypassing controls or evidence requirements.
• Clear judgment about materiality, escalation, and the limits of available information.
