Work arrangement

This hybrid role requires regular travel to Greater Houston, TX for in-person work. Your manager will confirm the weekly schedule.

What you will do

• Prepare financial forecasts, cash plans, management reports, and decision analysis for the founder and leadership team.

• Establish close, reconciliation, approval, audit-trail, and financial reporting standards.
• Review financial statements and investigate material variances, unusual transactions, and control gaps.
• Coordinate tax, payroll, banking, insurance, accounting, and outside professional relationships as appropriate.

• Develop finance staff and communicate financial risk, uncertainty, and recommended actions clearly.

What we are looking for

• Demonstrated senior responsibility for financial reporting, planning, cash management, and controls.
• Strong accounting, forecasting, compliance, analytical, and leadership judgment.
• Ability to challenge unsupported assumptions while providing practical alternatives.
• Clear communication of complex financial information to nonfinancial decision-makers.
