Junior Developer / Apprentice

Work arrangement

This role requires in-person work in Greater Houston, TX. You must be able to commute reliably or relocate before your start date.

What you will do

• Complete clearly scoped development and configuration tasks with guidance and review.

• Reproduce reported defects and document steps, expected behavior, actual behavior, and relevant evidence.
• Test changes on desktop and mobile and record the checks performed before requesting review.

• Maintain project notes, update documentation, and follow Git and deployment procedures.
• Ask focused questions, apply review feedback, and gradually take on more complex assignments.

What we are looking for

• No prior professional developer title is required when practical learning work can be shown.
• Foundational knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, or another programming language.
• Reliability, curiosity, attention to detail, and willingness to explain how conclusions were reached.
• Ability to commute reliably to Greater Houston, TX and learn through direct collaboration and feedback.
